Required Spell for The Hall Of Herodiana is: Depulso
You will automatically unlock this quest after completing the main quest “The Lunar Lament of the Caretaker.” You will need to speak to Sophronia Franklin next to the Spell Classroom at Hogwarts.
Speaking with Sophronia Franklin, you’ll learn more than you need to know about Herodiana Byrne. According to her, Herodiana is the greatest user of the Depulso spell in the wizarding world. It is with this spell that you will find the entrance to Herodiana’s secret hall.
Start by following your compass to the ground floor of the Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower, then use Depulso on the switch on the wall. This will reveal the entrance to the famous secret hall, which you must enter.
Proceed until the room transforms before your eyes, then use Depulso on the first cubes to push them to the other side of the room. Use them to climb higher and open the chest behind the doors to find Herodiana’s Cloak.
In the new room, go under the bridge and use Accio on the two cubes to the right to move them to the left. From there, use Depulso to push them east, then Accio to pull them to the right. This way, you can climb them to reach the top and open the chest containing Herodiana’s Outfit.
Be careful, as the new room is more complex than the others. If you encounter any issues, you can cast a basic spell on the glowing artifact in the center to reset the position of the cubes. Start by using Accio to move them to the right, then push them against the artifact with Depulso. Then, climb the stationary cubes on the left side of the room and use Accio to pull the block towards you. This way, you can jump onto the cubes to reach the platform further away.
From there, cast a basic spell on the artifact to reset the block, then use Accio to bring them back towards the goal. Finally, use Accio again to push them against the wall, allowing you to jump on them and climb towards your objective. Refer to our images for more clarity.
At the top, you can retrieve Herodiana’s Cap from the chest and exit the Hall. Return to Sophronia to complete the quest.
