Do you want to learn the Flipendo spell from Professor Bulbille but can’t finish her assignment? In this guide, we explain how to obtain the three combat plants required to complete this Hogwarts Legacy mission.
Professor Bulbille never ceases to challenge us with assignments involving magical plants. In her second assignment, she asks us for sisymbrium stems and, most importantly, three combat plants. But what is she talking about?
In this Hogwarts Legacy: The Legacy of Hogwarts guide, we help budding wizards with this cheat sheet. We explain how to obtain sisymbrium and, most importantly, which plants to choose to complete the mission given by Bulbille.
What are the combat plants?
The set of plants requested by Professor Bulbille includes the following: Chinese Chomping Cabbage, Venomous Tentacula, and Mandrake.
How to obtain Chinese Chomping Cabbage?
If you don’t want to bother growing plants, you can obtain Chinese Chomping Cabbage for 300 coins at the Amanita and Couch Grass store in Hogsmeade.
However, it’s much more economical (especially for potion makers) to buy seeds and grow your own plants. By spending 600 coins, you can obtain numerous Chinese Chomping Cabbages by cultivating them.
How to obtain Venomous Tentacula and Mandrake?
If you have completed your first assignment with Professor Bulbille, you should already be familiar with these two plants. But we will still remind you how to obtain them for those who might have forgotten!
Venomous Tentacula and Mandrakes can be obtained individually at the Amanita and Couch Grass store in Hogsmeade. If you want to cultivate them yourself, you can find seeds in the same store.
However, Venomous Tentacula can also be found in the wild, specifically in the villages or in the Hogwarts Greenhouses.
Where to find sisymbrium seeds?
To find sisymbrium seeds, it’s straightforward! Go to the Magic Turnip store to obtain seeds, and then buy a large pot from Tomes and Scrolls to grow them. Indeed, sisymbrium stems cannot grow in a small pot.
As usual, you will have to grow them in your Room of Requirement. And, if you want to improve the yield of your crops, feel free to include some fertilizer when potting your seeds.
Once you have all these ingredients, all you need to do is visit Professor Bulbille in the Greenhouses so she can finally teach you the Flipendo spell. You can try it at your leisure by aiming at the dummy.
