How to Unlock the Quest and What’s the Reward?
Before we delve into solving the quest in Hogwarts Legacy: The Legacy of Hogwarts, let’s provide you with some details. First and foremost, the reward at stake is a Niffler-shaped mask appearance to customize your character.
To access this quest, you’ll need to have made some progress in the main questline. You must first complete the “In the Shadow of the Estate” quest before this one becomes available.
Once that’s done, you simply need to go to the village of Irondale. There, you’ll find an NPC named Padraic Haggarty. Talk to him, and he’ll reveal that his sister stole from him and joined Rockwood.
Follow the Coins to Find the Thief
To solve this quest, you’ll need the Revelio spell. Once night falls, cast this spell next to the market stall. You should then see a small pile of coins and a few coins forming a path beside the road.
Like breadcrumbs, these coins will help you trace the thief. You’ll come across a goblin camp. Eliminate them, but you won’t find the coins, as the trail continues further. You’ll then pass through a rocky formation and a forest before finding the road again.
You’ll then encounter the thief, who is a Niffler! Neutralize it using Levioso and a capture bag. Once that’s done, climb the rocky formation nearby, where you’ll find the stolen item belonging to Padraic Haggarty. Return it to him, and you’ll complete the quest.
